It's been a week that they put my account on hold, and my only income I get is from my work. I'm a single mom of two with disabilities, and no one emails me. They have a machine that says I need to submit bank statements of an external account and a photo ID, which I already did, and still nothing.

I can't log in to my account trying to borrow money and trying to see if I can redo my application. I've been trying to borrow money for years, and it's not letting me get any money.

I was trying to change my email address and my phone number too so I can borrow money from [PERSON_NAME]. I've been trying so hard, and it's giving me errors.

Dave stole money out of personal bank account without my authorization or approval then said I was getting a refund and I never received the refund and I never even got a loan from this company I was denied so what makes them think they can deny my loan but turn around and steal money out of my personal bank account so I've contacted a lawyer last week and he's working my case

They claim to give me a refund but yet it's not in my account and they never should've went into my account without my authorization I guess they think I would pay attention to my account and missing money but I have my bank app on my phone so no one can steal out my account and I don't no about it cause I get direct messages to my phone after every transaction,this is a horrible stealing *** company never ever use them if you want to borrow money go to cash app it's faster better and low interest rate on paying back to them but please don't use them they are dishonest thieves!!

This company is a *** scam,they think they can refuse you for a cash loan then steal money out of your personal bank account after you've closed your Dave account how tf can they legally do that and I'm not having it I'm contacting my lawyer he will have a field day with them in court!I just don't understand and I just received an emailed saying I got refunded back from wtf they stole out my account and yet it's still not in my account so I'll call my bank and report it as fraud and let them know I didn't authorize that transaction that dave stole my money then contact my lawyer I will never recommend them to anyone they are nothing but lying thieves and should be out of business!

Lots of Trouble for me

They sent an email saying it was resolved but I still have no access to my account. Then they say there is a firm to be filled out by the merchant and the merchant is the only one with the information needed on the form.

There is no merchant I don't have an acc with the app that took the took the ten dollars. I have repeatedly said to let the ten dollars be gone and unfreeze my account because it has cost me so much more by not being able to pay my bills. I'm still locked out and no one will talk to me they just use a recording referring me to the stupid email that I can't do anything with. Meanwhile I'm in deep with my bills not being paid on time.

I am wondering if I'm going to have to close my account with them just to get out of this stupid mess over 10 dollars.

They are not customer service friendly. They don't care that I'm going down deeper every day.

When I talk to the lady and told her to not continue to dispute she did not listen they have my account Frozen my bills are messed up I have no access to my money and it's causing me nothing but trouble The little $10 was nothing compared to what y'all have caused me and they still were not on face my account and help me I do not like the way the customer service did not listen I've got major problems because of this

My money was taken out of my account, I reported the unauthorized transactions and they broke it up into 2 cases. One totalling $1,293 and $190.

I was informed that only the $190 was eligible for a provisional credit on the tenth day if they could not resolve it by then. Of course, they didn't care and didn't want to do anything. They didn't do any investigation. They flat out denied my money being refunded they were rude the entire time and they were not empathetic at all.

I have proof but they didn't say they needed it or anything else I provided a police report number and I went to idemtitytheft.gov and they said "we see your card was locked and unlocked so therefore your claim is denied you will not receive any provisional credit and then case is closed". I called so many times to see what I should do to help they just said nothing there was always silence on the other end, they hung up on me several times i don't have bad reception. And they told me the night before I should of just gotten my money back that they didn't need anything were always so uncaring so rude and just wanted to not talk to me. I have been a Dave customer over 14 years.

Im changing banks. Because after all thse years I can only get a very small advance and it doesn't matter if you pay it back so many companies are such crooks. But they don't want to do any work, it almost seems as if the people who work there have absolutely no history of working in banking, it's so hard to get anyone on the phone and then they act like children and that they have no idea what they are even doing. They got everything I told them all mixed up because they don't care.

They probably are playing video games while pretending to talk to me because most the time no one was even paying attention. But it's not their money so they didn't care. I want my money back. They didn't check anything the information I gave them was useless because they didn't check one thing and I feel so cheated.

I have had my share of issues with them but this is the worst and the worst customer service ever. I don't recommend banking with them ot getting any advances because you won't get much of anything anyway. Im filing complaints rather than try to deal with their uneducated meathead employees and their attitudes are so bad so careless and they lied about everything. Im done with using them for anything.

I want my money back and I have to find other options because these are probably high school drop outs that work there because they are so uneducated on how banking works.

Im.in disbelief at how little they care too. Smdh

I cannot talk to a real person and I've am tired of the repeated remarks that is not helping me

I told the woman not to continue the dispute it was not worth the trouble y'all cause me to go through with it. Y'all have continued to not listen to me and I'm in a big mess. Every where I go to for help is false information and I can't get anyone to listen to me!

It's been 3 years and the last communication I had was in Feb 2026 when they verified who I was and was supposed to be sending a check to me of the full amount. It's May and I've not gotten anything from them at all

Open the company's app and log in using the registered credentials to close Dave's account. Head to Settings and click on Edit profile. You will find this under your name on the app. The next step is to scroll down and click Close my Dave Account. The next step in closing Dave's account is to select the reason for making the decision. Once this is done, confirm the account closure, which will close all your financial accounts with the company.

You can download the Dave banking app from the company's official website. Once the app is installed, log in using the registered accounts. If you cannot complete the Dave Bankng login, click to reset the password. Once logged in, you can carry out various banking functions such as direct deposit, sending a check, recurring transfer, account management, and more. For any assistance, head to Settings.

To initiate Dave Banking log in, open the app and click Join Dave. This is if you do not have an account. Enter your email address, name, and mobile phone number, and create a strong password. If you already have an account, log in using your registered email address, phone number, and password. If you have trouble with the Dave banking sign in, click to reset the password.

To resolve your Dave account locked concern, try resetting your password. If this does not work, try to reach out to the company's support team via different methods of communication. The company's phone numbers are 1-800-633-4466 and 1-844-857-3283. Another way to contact the support team and resolve your Dave account locked issue is to email support@dave.com and davecares@dave.com.

The Dave Banking return policy depends on when a merchant processes a refund to the user's Dave Debit Mastercard.
